🧀 Super Simple Cheesy Pasta (Fuel Me Once)
Creamy, cheesy and made to be eaten without a fight.
(Made with pasta that’s 40% carrot… but they won’t know it.)
Ingredients
Fuel Me Once pasta
1 portion (~62.5g pasta) = ~25g carrot
2 portions (~125g pasta) = ~50g carrot
1 tbsp butter or olive oil
1 tbsp cream cheese or a splash of cream
30–40g grated cheddar
Splash of pasta water
Pinch of salt
Method
1. Cook the pasta
Bring a pot of salted water to the boil and cook the Fuel Me Once pasta for 4–6 minutes.
Reserve a small cup of pasta water, then drain.
2. Make it creamy
In a pan, melt the butter or heat the oil.
Add:
cream cheese (or cream)
a splash of pasta water
Stir until smooth and silky.
3. Add cheese + pasta
Add the cooked pasta and grated cheddar.
Stir until everything is coated and glossy.
Add a little more pasta water if needed to loosen.
4. Serve
Serve warm. Add extra cheese on top if needed.
Notes
Keep it simple — that’s the point
The pasta brings the veg, no need to add more
Add cooked chicken if you want extra protein
Simple, filling, and quietly better.
